"The “Empowering Men’s Day” was a huge success! The male students in grades 6th, 7th, and 8th, staff, and community members were all invited to spend the morning with Dr. Robert Akikta to talk about Violence Prevention. The program focused on Peace Education and entailed a variety of approaches such as, motivational movie clips, group building exercises, and inspirational speaking to motivate students to take a stand against bullying and violence in their school and community. We appreciate Power of One Enterprises for sponsoring such a wonderful event!"

I was especially impressed because of the time you took after the training to talk to my friend/coworker and I concerning her children with special needs. I believe meeting you was a divine connection because she has been struggling for years, trying to get help for her children, and the answers on what to do came from you.

Due to this workshop, one of the members of the church has gotten married and celebrated his one year anniversary. Other members of Gaines have voiced how they enjoyed and learned from the workshops. I am confident in his abilities and at no time have I felt that he has misrepresented his credentials. He has presented me proof of his Doctorate in Martial Arts Science. Furthermore, I am pleased with his work in relationship building and I would highly recommend him.

Future Leaders Program
Many of the youth who participated in the Futures Leaders Workshop live in areas where they see shootings and chalk outlined bodies. It numbs one to see that some have accepted this “sentence” of their environment as normal. We need more concerned advocates in the community to address the critical issues that were addressed in this workshop
